1. Physiotherapy for pain
Pain Management in Physiotherapy plays the most important role in reducing inflammation in each clinical condition. Analysing the root cause of pain helps in identifying the correct treatment for the same. We use wide a range of techniques for pain relief, including using heat and cold both superficially and deeply, electro physiotherapy, and a host of manipulation techniques. Pain is often the most debilitating aspect of physical injury, and physiotherapy can supplement drug treatments or work in their stead if there are complications that prevent the use of stronger pain killers. Our feature also includes teaching the patient how to reduce the severity of pain through the use of appropriate body mechanics and exercise pacing.
2. Physiotherapy for Neurological conditions
Patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury can benefit greatly with physiotherapy treatment. Interventions focus on muscle re-education and control, rehabilitation of fine and gross motor skills, improving daily function, regaining strength and flexibility, learning how to perform safe transfers, restoring and improving gait and training in the use of mobility aids. For children suffering from cerebral palsy, physiotherapy is essential in helping to reduce spasticity and deformity, improving postural control, teaching children how to use assistive devices and doing all that is necessary to maximise the child’s functional independence. We will also educate the family so they can help carryover what the child has learned during therapy sessions. Our protocol is inclusive of Low-impact aerobic training,Strengthening exercises,Pain relief exercises,Stretching which is beneficial in wide range for neuro rehabilitation.
